Honestly, when I tried the mochimisu from Koja Kitchen, I wasn’t satisfied. Perhaps it was the dessert wasn’t chilled enough for my liking? After all, the Korean and Japanese fusion restaurant is quite small with limited seating. So, what else could cater to my sweet tooth? Well, if you walked outside of Koja Kitchen and turn to your left and look up at the sign, you’ll see why —

CREAM
(Cookies Rule Everything Around Me)

They are fresh, homemade cookies sandwiched between a delicious flavor of ice cream of your choice. White chocolate macadamia nut? Snickerdoodles? Soy mint chocolate chip? Strawberry cheesecake? Cookies and cream? Or what about the good old fashion French vanilla? The choices are endless and you could either pick between an ice cream sandwich, milkshakes, sundaes, or what Justin ordered: the CREAM taco. It consisted of three ice cream scoops and two toppings, which equals to one giant mess accompanied by eyes widen and stares from the passerby's as all three of us ate our delectable after-lunch desserts.

To the innocent looking Korean girl who walked by us and silently whispered, “Holy shit!” to her friends: you’re awesome.
